31/01/2024Rabobank’s Client Council Financial Skills Workshops kick off in February with 4 workshops across the country.
The workshops are open to the rural community including clients and non-clients across New Zealand, with the bank and its network of Client Councils aiming to put 5,000 primary producers through Financial Skills workshops by 2025.
Facilitated by Lawrence Field of Rural Field Consultants and supported by Beef + Lamb New Zealand, the workshops are designed for those who wish to expand their financial skills to make informed decisions within their business.

Participants at a Financial Skills Workshop in Whangārei
In Module 1, our team will take you through an introductory one-day interactive workshop involving practical hands-on skills in understanding financial statements and banking requirements.
In Module 2, participants will expand on the areas of looking forward, recognising a significant variation to plan, and how best to communicate this.
This workshop is a collaboration between Rabobank and Rabo Client Councils with their content and facilitation partner Rural Field Consultants. Jointly chosen between Rabobank and the Client Council, the workshops are run in various locations across New Zealand.
