We're a leading global borrower in international finance markets

As a reliable and innovative issuer, we’ve had good access to international financial markets markets over the last decade. 

Based on a careful and consistent approach to funding and bank capital, our funding policy is low-risk yet proactive. We take a global diversified approach to funding and use a flexible range of tools. These include public bonds, medium-term notes (MTN), private placements, negotiable certificates of deposit (NCD), commercial paper (CP) and call deposits.

We have access to both institutional and retail investors. Most long term senior debt issues are successfully executed under the AUD 15 Billion Debt Issuance Programme (DIP) with Rabobank having a well established AUD and NZD benchmark funding curves. Short term funding can be executed under the ECP and CD Programmes.

Our dedicated financial engineers create the ability to value the most innovative structures. We’ve also issued in more than 20 different currencies in the public markets and continue to spearhead developments in the structured MTN market, where we’re the acknowledged leader.
